Many of the files on sendspace have been around a long time. The oldest file still available was uploaded by a free user on Nov 6th, 2005! This popular file has been downloaded many thousands of times since then, keeping it continuously active.

Unfortunately, we can’t give you the link because we maintain the right of the uploader to safe, private, file sharing. The uploader always controls who has access to their files.

What we can tell you is this small file has used up nearly 60GB in download bandwidth, and has been downloaded all over the world, from Arizona to Zambia.

You asked to set limits on your files and we listened. We are pleased to introduce a great new feature that lets Max and Pro members set download limits for their files.

You can choose to only allow a certain number of downloads, for example, 10, or set the file to become unavailable after a certain time, for example, 7 days. If you set both limits, it’s whichever comes first.

Once the limit has been reached, you choose whether or not the file is deleted, or saved in your folder for sharing again at another time.

It’s all controlled in MyFiles, where you can already change filenames, description, password etc.

Max and Pro members have so many great administration features to use. Let us know what else you would like us to do to make sendspace even better.
