- What is sendspace Max™?
sendspace Max™ is an optional way to get maximum performance for very little cost. You can download up to a massive 4GB a day and upload as much as you want! There are no speed limits and sendspace Max™ gives you unlimited parallel downloads and high priority download slots so you can get that file in the fastest time. Your uploaded files are always available and they will not be removed even if inactive for as long as you are a sendspace Max™ user.
- How do I collect and redeem Max points?
Max points are automatically collected by sharing your files. Collect 10, 000 points and you can redeem them for a month's free membership of sendspace Max™. When you have reached the required number of points, you will be invited to redeem them on the Max points page, reached through Mysendspace.
- Can I upload files bigger than 300 MB with sendspace Max?
No, you can upload large files up to 300MB each. If you want to send files that are larger than 300MB, you will need to split them first. The server will not allow uploads of files that exceed this limit. This limit is the same for all users, including sendspace Max™ members.
- Will the Upload speed be faster with sendspace Max?
No, we allow uploads without speed restrictions. In fact, some of our users can upload files at over 400 Kilobytes a second! However, if you are connected with a typical broadband connection you should get around 20 KB per second for send/upload speed. This is because broadband providers set a much lower rate for upload speeds than download speeds. This will depend on your broadband connection and is in no way related to sendspace or our servers.
- Can I use sendspace ad-free?
We subsidize our premium service, sendspace Max™ by retaining advertising. This helps us to keep the subscription as low as possible, whilst offering massive bandwidth per month - up to 120GB per user!
- Can I add a password to protect my files?
Yes. sendspace Max™ members have the option of adding a password to protect their files. This can be done when uploading or at a later date through the mysendspace file edit feature. You can add an alphanumerical code, up to 10 characters, to further secure your files to authorized downloaders.
- What happens when my membership expires?
We do not automatically renew sendspace Max™ accounts. You will need to renew your account if you want to continue using sendspace Max™. If, for any reason, you do not want to renew your membership you do not need to cancel your account or anything; your sendspace Max™ membership will expire automatically and revert to a free account.
